G.W. Bill Elliott, Jr once noted;
Have you ever had to swallow your pride, and quickly realized; "Man... I bit off more than I can chew?" Talk about needing a weight-loss program, right!

Vehicles of Mine
Over the years of my life, I have almost always had an old vehicle… I have restored many of them, and some I just ‘bought that way’ and drove the wheels off of it. I am not a ‘get it and show it’ guy… rather… “drive that thing” is where I have always lived, and yes… there have been occasions when you just have to stop and work on it, too!
Here they are in reverse order of possession.

1958 F100
I bought this truck in April of 2017 and it has been my only vehicle since then (aside from my Harley and my bicycle. It is my daily driver and my road-trip vehicle.
Perry's Truck
My younger brother died in September of 2006 and I inherited this 1984 F150 XLT of his. I used it as a daily driver and a road-trip truck from 2006 until 2014. It made six (6) trips back-0-forth to my father's home in Austin (from Phoenix, AZ and back).

Buster's REO
Although this was 'my truck', it actually belonged to my ex-father-in-law (Buster). I always referred to it as his, and once we got it all restored and used it for some 5 years, we shipped it back to Opheim, MT and the homestead farm there.
Daddy's Caddy
I did not have this Cadillac very long (two-ish years), but was able to drive it quite a bit... even up to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho during the Christmas season back in 1998 (from the San Rafael area).

1965 Buick Skylark
My father had one of these when I was younger (circa 1971) and I really loved driving this one. It had factory A/C, too. I owned it from 1993 until around 1999.

1955 Ford Customline
I bought this when I was in college in the Dallas area (1986-ish). Because I was driving the 1963 Impala (below), one of the Deacons's from church knew that an older member of the church wanted it to go to someone who would 'care' (and not just clean it up and sell it).

1964 Chevrolet Impala
I originally bought this while living back in the LA area (again) in the Spring of 1984. I owned it for some 5 years and it was our only vehicle while in college in the Dallas area until that '55 came on the scene (above)

1954 Chevrolet 3100
This was my first 'old vehicle' for which I have photos. It was broken down and stuck in a ditch on a back-road outside of Austin, TX. We talked the owner into it and he helped pull it out of the ditch and we 'limped' it downhill and to my house (it had a bent driveshaft yoke).
