Frequently Asked Questions
Jesus's genealogy is found in the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 1:1-17) and the Gospel of Luke (Luke 3:23-38). According to Matthew, Jesus's genealogy begins with Abraham and continues through King David and eventually to Joseph, Mary's husband. Luke traces Jesus's genealogy all the way back to Adam, the first man.
No. Just like there is not a 'Beforelife', there is neither an Afterlife. The idea that we stop life when our bodies die is not supported in scripture. Remember, the scriptures read, "there was wailing and weeping and gnashing of teeth" for the souls that were routed into 'the fiery pit'. Contrarily, we are encouraged that "we will see a new heaven and a new earth" coming from God. Life is forevermore... here on earth, we just decide where that eternity will be for us.
